Flynns Beach Caravan Park

Traveling back from Sydney, my family and some friends had booked to stay for a night at Flynns Beach Caravan Park. When we arrived, we saw Helen at the front reception area. She was lovely and helpful. My friends booking was listed but unfortunately there was nothing listed for my booking. Luckily I had the emails on my phone & could show that I had definitely booked & paid the deposit to stay. And thank goodness there was one family cabin still available but not right next door to my friends as promised. The cabins are very small & compact. The bathroom is so tiny, it's difficult to dry yourself after a shower. Definitely no room to swing a cat, if you needed to. Linen & pillows for the beds is extra, so remember to include that in your booking too.

During our eight months stay at Flynns Beach Caravan Park (Port Macquarie) we had a wonderful experience. The caravan park is located a 2 minute walk from Flynns Beach (patrolled). The park sits nicely in a gum tree area at 22 Ocean Street. Therefore its a great site to spot wild koalas. From the caravan park its even a short stroll (10 min walk) to the worlds only Koala Hospital. The parks new managers are lovely, helpful and social people (Mim and Adrian, managers since May 2011). With their experience they bring the park back to life. The park is mixed with permanent residents, holiday cabins and campsites. The campsites are a good size, some are shady, and some are sunny. The amenity block, pool and the camp kitchen are cleaned daily. The park is dog friendly. We recommend Flynns Beach Caravan Park to everyone during your stay in Port Macquarie. Cheers, Yon & Steve.

We arrived after dark with two small children and it was pooring rain. The managers were so helpful and friendly and did their best to make sure we were warm, comfortable and set up for our needs. The cabin was one of the cleanest we'd ever seen. Shame we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the beautiful beach just up the road or the lovely tropical setting of the Park. Highly recommend. A++++

Excellent!! The managers of the park couldn't have been more helpful, the toilets and showers were clean. We were there over the Easter break and had a wonderful time, the park is set within walking distance to Flyns beach which is beautiful. Had a perfect break, thank you to the managers who looked after us when we had caravan battery problems.

This park is well placed, and doggie friendly with conditions, nice tropical setting......BUT...cleaning is sub standard particularly the toilets and showers, other caravanners were also complaining.
