I have never written a review but i had to warn people about this place.
I had been here before about 5 years ago and it wasn't that bad, but now it is terrible.
I came back on a whim after a text message offering a half price cut and colour. I took it up and they have ruined the colour of my hair, and I paid $150 for them to do it.
I was very specific about wanting a natural copper colour and showed pictures of the colour I wanted. I was also very specific about not wanting my hair red. My hair is now Ronald McDonald red with stripes (see profile pic, and it's brighter in sunlight). Fine if you want that, but it is exactly what i didn't want. It's red and not at all natural.
Ok, so mistakes happen. When I said to the colourist Bianca "it's bright red not copper", she just flatly told me, "it's copper". They didn't offer to fix it, they were very rude, got me to pay and get out.
I hope for your sake you avoid this place, or else get ready to pay $300 to ruin your hair.
After i posted this review and a google review had two voicemail messages from Foo. The first offering to fix my colour and the second 2 hours and 12 minutes later threatening legal action if I didn't take the review down.
I had gone to another hairdresser to fix the colour so when I called back I also aked for a refund under Australian Consumer law as Foo had not delivered the service with due care and skill. The owner was pleasent on the phone and agreed to refund me $100 for the colour. (Which is good but I would rather never have gone there than get a refund for them messing up.) I go to Anne who is new to this salon but has been cutting hair for many years. I find Anne to be a great hairdresser who loves cutting hair and getting a style you are happy with. She is sweet and will talk as much or as little as you feel like. Anne is the only person I have had cut my hair here so I can't comment on the other stylists.
