Food Star Restaurant Narre Warren

Went there on a over 40 degree day. The air conditioner was not running and when we asked the staff, they said it was on. It was almost as hot inside! The staff were just standing around and not working.

The food tasted alright, but some of the fried foods was soggy. The beef was slightly raw, too. It was very easy to find parking, though. Unlike many other buffets, this place was not crowded, noisy nor overly dirty.

First time going to this restaurant and I will never return! We walked in and the first thing I noticed was the front door all smashed.

The cutlery set was dirty and my food was stale and cold. After I had tried the sweet and sour chicken noticing it was just cooked I refused to eat anymore. I then asked for a management and asked for my money back as I wasn't happy with the food, I explained to them the food shouldn't be this cold nor stale they then told me "you need to get the food from the bottom of the tray"!!! They refused to give me my money back their reason being "you already ate the food" the food was still visible on the plate, and of course I tried the food how else would I no it was stale and disgusting! After telling the worker I would be going further with this they then gave me a refund for my meal but not my partners. They told me "it's not fair on me" never will i return to this restaurant !!!

Eating at Foodstar Narre Warren was the single most awful dining experience of my life. I was not expecting to much given that it was buffet food however upon walking to the front counter it looked like a cheesy restaurant that had not been renovated since the 80's.

I went there today with a few people and the person at the desk was quite friendly. The food itself however was very disappointing and a lot of what I got was cold which surely isn't right. The honey chicken however was superb and possibly the best I've ever had so far.

The nursing home I work at regularly take groups of our clients to Food Star Narre Warren for lunch. The staff are very friendly and ensure that we are seated conveniently close to the food. We are yet to have a negative experience and our clients always express their satisfaction with the variety of food. Thank you.
