Theres nothing worse than going to work on a Monday, except for going to work at a place that doesnt have a friendly local caf nearby. Fortunately, Food Store is my friendly local caf nearby. An array of lunch options, strong soulful coffee, specials which are actuallyspecial, and staff who keep their head when all around them are losing theirs. I am visiting food store from three years and always had great coffee/lunch experience. I thought to take it to the next level by trying their food platers. For Christmas party we ordered one fruit plater and one cheese plater with crispy breads. Unfortunately the cheese plater was a huge disappointment. There were three big lumps of cheese with breads on a plate- no decoration at all. For $90.00 you definitely expect something better than that.

Still I am and will be a big coffee fan at Food Store. 5***** to coffee and lunch.

Best place to see friend for lunch. Julie and other staff are very friendly and welcoming. The Coffee is best and there is always something exiting to go with it...

Julie is such a classic host and knows her customers well. Great coffee and great food. Never short of a newspaper for all the punters and you will always enjoy the experience going down to the Food Store.

I had a great experience here. The coffee was delicous and the service so lovely and friendly.
I will return next time I'm in Perth!
