We live in Blackwood but, over the past 2 months, have been driving to Pasadena because it's a much larger outlet with a huge, diverse range of products. However, after doing our sums over the period and comparing them with our local store, there was a significant price difference - even taking into account the specials. These included many staple items including meat and vegies - and even cat food. For us, Foodland Pasadena is not financially advantageous..

We have not long been in SA from NSW and my daughter recommended this store for grocery shopping. It really has an amazing selection of goods but I have a serious complaint. Over the last three weeks I have purchased four items which went "off" very shortly after my purchase. Two of these were chicken breasts which, despite being kept refrigerated, went off in two days after purchase. The other two were pre-packaged apples and deli cheese. I took the last lot of chicken back to the store yesterday and was given a refund immediately. But I received no apology or explanation whatsoever and the attitude was "if you don't like it here, shop somewhere else". Which is exactly what I shall be doing in future. Big selection does not excuse bad food!

this is the most incredible store. It will have everything you need and then isle upon isle of things you wont know how you lived without. Do not even get me started on the plethora of cheeses they have on offer, they have a designated cheese deli. Need I say more?
