Foodland

This store has the largest range of products, and is the most spacious of all the Foodland/Drake/IGA stores I have seen, which is great, and it is always clean and well-staffed. On the other hand, it is the worst laid out supermarket I have ever shopped in. I cannot understand why associated products are in different places, and often have to ask staff where they are. The other things which doesn't work are the overhead signs. Because the aisles are so long, it is impossible to read them from the other end, and when you are older you don't want to have to walk all the way down the aisle to find things all the time. Great potential wasted by poor planning

As a long time local resident of the community of Semaphore Park many of us are completely dissatisfied with the lack of community mindedness by the management of this retailer when they decide to close the doors to customers the moment a power outage is experienced.Junior staff overheard by 'would be' disgruntled customers suggesting to senior staff to "turn on the generators", instead refusing the option only to close it`s doors!This is EXTREMELY POOR considering the absorbident prices this foodland store in comparison with all other foodland stores in surrounding areas and a BLACK MARK in reflection of any support towards it`s communities patronage in such events.

Good old fashioned service. Small but still has everything you need.
