Foodstar Sunshine

If it is a cheap and nasty buffet that you are after then this is the place for you. Their food was average and did not have much flavour. The food they serve are cheap and are just fillers to make you full.

If you are after decent cheap buffet and fun time with all the family, then food star in sunshine can feed the whole family for a reasonable price. Variety of food and i agree that you need to be there as soon as it opens for dinner as all the favourite dishes goes really quickly especially the seafood. and yes they do like to take their time to refill. Its not your high class buffet but it will do in terms of filling your stomach for one of those nights where the whole family is together and you haven't prepared anything at home.

The restaurant's staff are friendly. Food is okay, nothing too great. Would go to three stars if the restaurant was a bit cleaner.

as far as buffet places go, well it's OK. The looks, ambiance & apparent cleanliness of this place is ho hum, the variety of food on offer is pretty good, especially at "peak" times when they increase the menu with sushi & more Asian fare. And that's probably what mildly sets this buffet out from other buffet's - its not just badly cooked roast meat, bland noodles & pasta & cheap tasting desserts, it has what could loosely be called Asian cuisine, which is palatable.

I don't mind coming here from time to time however it is not somewhere that is high on my list of favourites.

Food is nice however I do often wonder about the hygiene of the place as it is often unclean, particularly during busier times.

I also think the selection of foods could do with abit more variety, perhaps it is time to update the menu at foodstar.
