Foodstore Kawana and Takeaway

Tried this place for the first time after hearing on the radio that they had reopened and had great burgers. My friend ordered over the phone for pick up. Ordered 1 burger and 1 burger meal. Said hi and that we were there for order. Neither staff greeted us. Older staff member said flatly that there was 30 minutes before closing and moved towards kitchen. The younger staff member was asked to serve us by the older staff. We repeated to them we were there for pick up. They went to the kitchen to get the older staff member to bring out our order, came back and I paid. Two burgers and chips came out. My friend said they hadn't ordered 2 lots of chips. I said it looked like extra. Then I noticed the sign on the wall and realised that I had paid for 2 meal deals. The older staff member came out and happily said that they had given us free extra chips. Although I don't think this is the case. Getting on in the evening I didn't raise this issue. If fish that is jelly like and stale yellow chips is your thing than this is the place for you. Hamburgers that are massive just meant more to throw in the bin. Interacting with the staff was like talking to a 3 year old with thete big pants on. Definitely wouldn't dream of going back here. Big thumbs down.....
