Shoe Stores
Foot Locker
Unfortunately I have to give this store a terrible .5 stars. Their national website tells you that they are releasing a limited shoe and rather than line up you have to go and put your name on a expresion of interest list. So we take time off work and go to their store to fill this list out. They tell us after taking two hours of work that they are not decided if they will be doing a expresion of interest list. I went here looking for a cheap pair of runners. I was expecting to walk out with a useless shoe that I would use once on a bushwalk!
I walked away with a sports shoe that I have used for years and only cost me $65! This is miraculous, as I often have trouble finding a shoe that fits. It all came down to the staff. The man that served me knew what he was doing. He said he understood that someone with my shape foot would need a particular style and instantly ruled out several brands. He measured me quickly and found a few options for me. He followed my brief (ie, cheap shoe) and came back with a shoe that I am so happy I now own.
The store is easy to miss, but if you are walking on Pitt St and want a sports shoe I recommend it to anyone.
