Foothills Cycles

Fantastic shop, Steve is great & really helpful. Like the previous reviewer said, he doesn't try to sell you anything that you don't really need. I've taken my flatbar road bike into him a couple of times & I couldn't believe how little he charged! I also took a friend's 2nd hand road bike in as the gears were jammed up, he spent hours getting them working, he didn't give up, he was genuinely interested in getting them working...and again the price he charged certainly didn't seem to reflect the hours he spent.

Steve has to be my man as a mechanic and as a salesman. Having trained six young sons, Steve shows many of the character traits, which I have been trying to teach my boys. He is a man who is compassionate, careful, quick and reflective. Above all he cares. Steve tries to get you what you need for your purpose and in your budget. So having trained a number of young men to mountain bike, I encouraged all of them to try Foothills Cycles. He does not try to oversell his bikes and his interest more in getting you a good bike even if that means telling you to go somewhere else or obtain it second hand. He has never let me down and I am confident he will help you in the same way. I personally can't imagine a better all-round bike mechanic.
