This place takes advantage of the fresh produce that can be sourced locally and I was really impressed with the sago pudding which was further spiced up with some juicy corriander and carrot. The coffee is really well done here, very aromatic and not too bitter. The inside is cosy and as welcoming as the inside, classic old school brunch spot. It would be hard for large group of people since most of the setting is catered for groups of 2 to 5 people.
I really enjoyed breakfast at the milking station. Staff could have been a bit more attentive or even interested in us but the food and the coffee certainly makes up for it. Had the smashed avocado which is probably the best version of this common menu item I've had in over 12 months. Great size, flavor and presentation. Location is cute and meals are delicious!
I'm really glad that there's a cool brunch place like this in Footscray. The store itself is a bit small, but if the weather is good, I'd recommend sitting out in the back opened area. The wait here isn't too long as those other brunch places closer to the city. The food on the other hand, it's good, but not great. Very presentable though.
