BEWARE......No stars. A good dry cleaner I've used for many years. Today I took five clean pairs of corduroy trousers in to be altered. I've lost weight and they needed to be taken in. The staff who does the alternations was revolted by my trousers because, apparently, they smell of smoke. They claims to be allergic. Hates tobacco smoke. They told me, rudely, that I would have to have these trousers dry cleaned AT MY EXPENSE. There is no sign in the shop that says WE HATE SMOKERS AND REFUSE TO HANDLE SMOKERS' CLOTHES. I'm furious. The customer is, apparently, wrong. If you detest the smell of tobacco smoke and you work in dry cleaning (among toxic chemicals) that's your problem NOT the customers. Very disappointing.
