Ford McKernan Engineering was established in 1947. We are general engineers that can make almost anything. We have an extensive CNC workshop with large capacity. We also CNC plasma and profile cut plate. Gearcutting is also one of our services with large capacity up to 1500mm diameter gears cut. Worm gears, splines and helical gears can also be done.
One off's and short runs are a specialty . If you have a sample we can generally duplicate it, be it a gear from an old motorbike or a crown gear from your slasher. Ford McKernan Engineering can also fabricate large structures. We built the cricket pitch lifter for the Adelaide Oval redevelopment from the ground up.
