Forester's Beer and Music Hall

This was a pretty nice place, though it is generally what I have come to expect from such pubs in the inner north of Melbourne. It certainly is somewhat about average, but the problem is that the bar is so high around here that it is difficult for a place to actually stand out from the other many great offerings. However, I spied this place when I was down here a few months ago and decided to check it out another time. I have to say that I did like it, and there were some decent beers on tap, most of them craft beers, but the problem was that it really didn't stand out a huge amount to make it a craft beer bar. They do have a Japanese restaurant on site, as well as a 'smokers cage'. There are also a couple of pool tables as well, but nothing hugely fancy. Still I didn't mind the place, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.
