This has been my local medical centre for 3 years now, and I've never had any issues. I've been seeing Dr Sim for an ongoing vitamin deficiency and he's wonderful - precise yet friendly. He will always take my complaints seriously and try to find an answer, rather than fobbing me off with advice to rest and generic antibiotics (which is what another doctor did, rather than diagnosing my deficiency!). They ONLY bulk bill, so I'm not sure if previous reviewers are mixing this up with St Leonards Medical Centre across the road - except for special consults (eg. pap smears, allergy tests etc). And the receptionists are busy, but I've always found them to be polite, which can be difficult in a customer-facing role!
As a sick patient coming in the last thing you want is to meet a receptionist who is sullen, gloomy, unhelpful. I would give a 0 for the receptionist customer service skill. Please hire someone who has a passion to be there and willing to help the patients coming in. The doctor I met though was pretty good.
I'm with deejayem. I have been using Forum for ten years and not had a bad experience yet, nor have I ever been charged money. All bulk-billed. As I work nearby, I always drop in personally to make an appointment, and usually get one on same day or the next. The single receptionist is nearly always (99.99%) a female. Hazzac and Sangcapri might be confusing this with another medical centre across the road?
