Very disappointed in the service, lack in communication and NO understanding.
Management was going to try and charge $30 to fit a poster in a frame after I had already purchased the frame, did not care to let us know there was an extra charge to fit the poster in the frame. I found a professional frame shop in south morang who only charged $15 which was more reasonable.
Hi RBP2013, we are sorry to know you were disappointed in our shop, we have a policy which is if you purchase a frame from us, we will put the photo or poster in to frame for FREE, we keep doing these for many years. This is on-site service. usually you can wait us to finish this job.
we also put on accessories such as D-ring and wire for you Free of Charge.
The fitting fee only occurs in such circumstances, the customer require professional fitting service, this maybe includes special care about the art work(eg,fragile, precious,etc), art work restoration, glue-down, mount, add mat, seal the frame,back brace, etc. Usually to do this job we need to bring the art work and frame to workshop, when we finish we will bring the frame back to shop, and customer can arrange a time to pick it up.
This is not a instant on-site service. because the job's difficulty ,frame size, and material consumption are vary, we usually give a Non Obligation quote to customer, you have completely freedom to choose us or other service provider.
we agree it is ridiculous to charge a customer $30 to open a frame, put the poster in and close it. if we do so we should closed years ago.
We occationally saw your review today, because we talked to numerous customers last year, we could not recall your case, you are welcome to our shop, we are happy to explain to you and sure to make you happy.
From your review, it seems you didn't receive our service, but you still against us, that is not fair. To be frank, I can't remember you. Even if I gave you a quote that day, you refused and left. do you need to leave a negative? I offered my solution, a year ago, but you didn't even give any feedback. So I doubt your purpos to do that. I already report your review to Truelocal. It is up to Truelocal to remove this review or not. If Truelocal don't want to remove this review, please keep my comment as well. Being a business for over 20 years, we belive Fair Trade made us still survive in such critical circumstance.
