Fountain Inn Hotel

We had dinner here the other night for the first time since they have changed owners and renovated. Food was amazing and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely be regulars. I think they have changed the name to the Parkside Hotel too

Well, I can't say that I was all that impressed with this place. In fact when I first walked into the door my eyes pretty much roll, expecting this to be little more than a suburban pub, despite the fact that it is in the inner suburbs of Adelaide. Looking around the bar all I could see was cheap furniture and what looked like regulars. This place has certainly changed since the days, long ago, that I flirted with amway. However, giving credit where credit is due, when I walked out into the beer garden I was really impressed. It seems as if they had spent all of their money upgrading the beer garden and ended up having nothing left. On Friday nights they even fire up the barbeque, however I simply wasn't able to wait around (namely because even though I liked the beer garden, I simply did not want to stay here all that long).

Friendly little pub near the city, a place were people will remember your name and more importantly your drink
