I am beyond disappointed in the care my partner received while there . He was admitted with alcohol dependency with no medical practitioner on site & was promised by the facilitator that he would be cured upon leaving with all the other false promises . There were no staff on the premises after 5pm which left a lot of the clients in dangerous & unpredictable circumstances . The services provided were minimal compared to the over priced fees . I believe this retreat is not equiped nor experienced enough or caring enough to offer services for life threatening addictions . Please don’t promise this to people who are vulnerable & in no position to help themselves & put their faith & life in your hands . It is a retreat & that is all it should claim to do .... it allows people to escape , replenish & rewind . This event was 9’years ago & we still remember this experience with disdain.
