Just completed 10 weeks of dog obedience training for my 7 months old Rhodesian Ridgeback with Four Paws Dog Obedience. I could not recommend the trainer, Dennis highly enough, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and patience.
The course is highly recommended for the content, quality and best of all what it cost. I rang many dog obedience schools before I enrolled with Four Paws and I never looked back, for what is taught over the 10 weeks, this course could cost a lot more.

Denis was amazing with my newly purchased shelter dog who is scared of everything and walks badly on her lead. By the end of the session I feel much more confident and actually looking forward to her waking up and being ready for another walk! Denis gave me a huge amount of tools, skills and direction to be able to give Forrest a great new start in life. We will definitely be using him again in the future to tackle the next step of off lead park experience once we have mastered what we learnt today. Thanks Denis for being so understanding and patient with not only Forrest but ME!!
Easily the best dog trainer I have ever met! When I went to him my dog had bad anxiety and was a trouble maker. Now, Dennis helped me see that I was at fault and not properly understanding my dog, and that the secret to having a good dog is being a good owner. Whoever had a problem with Dennis must have serious issues to not listen to him. I would never recommend anyone else! He is a true dog whisperer!
We were referred by our vet, however me and my dog were treated extremely disrespectfully. After one obedience class we asked for our money back, we were talked to in an aggressive manner and told that we had a bad dog, which was only a 6 month old lab and that we could not have our money back. I found the staff to be very unhelpful and to me and my partner. Would not recommend.
Denis is the best trainer and I can't recommend him highly enough. His training is simple and easy to understand, and he knows dogs and how they think. His puppy pre-school is a MUST for new pups. He gives handouts to reinforce what you're learning & is full of advice for any concerns. We also had a dog with an 'aggro' problem which we tried to discipline (he hadn't been to puppy pre school so missed out on socialistion & was attacked as a puppy by another dog !). Denis helped us understand our dog was acting out of fear and showed us how to keep him calm, remove him from fearful situations, and that discipline was actually making it worse by confusing him. Our dog is now happy & confident, and we're happy to see our little friend like this. We owe our dogs happiness, and our understanding of what they need from us, all to Denis. Your dog will show you unconditional love - let Denis give you the skills to make you worthy of that love !
