The woman helping me seemed very knowledgeable and had been in the business many years. However, she made me feel like an idiot with all my questions. She also commented on how I’d overpaid for my art work (professional photos of the family), basically saying I’d been ripped off and she couldn’t believe I didn’t even get a frame for the price I paid. This made me quite upset. Then when I asked if said work was insured there, instead of answering me she asked what I thought was gonna happen. I came up with a few very unlikely (but possible) situations, and she told me I was the most pessimistic person she’d come across. Not a nice thing to say. I have anxiety and found this comment especially upsetting. I’m sure my artwork would’ve been fine there, but I decided to take it elsewhere! I think customer service is very important and staff should think about what they say to their customers.
We have had many pictures framed by Framing and Art Matters. Jenny has provided expert advice and we have always been delighted with the results.
Recently Jenny framed some art we had bought in Africa, her fantastic service enabled us to have the pictures done very quickly. Jenny even delivered them so that we had them for a special occasion. We would not use any other framer, this company constantly produces quality results.
I have had a super experience using these framers. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted, I trusted the suggestions given to me and the final product I received was a highly professional frame. On top of very good service, because it was a large painting, it was even home delivered! What more could I ask for.
I painted my grandparents' wedding photo and took it here to get framed. I liked this store: they seemed to know what they were doing and they were straightforward and non-pretentious. The framing was perfect, on-time, very reasonably priced and they went out of their way to help me pack it for a flight. I was very happy.
