A little local bakery that has been running for years. The rye bread here is the best rye bread I've even had and I make the drive down there every Saturday to buy a loaf, but you have to get in early cause they do sell out. There are also other places in the area that they supply their rye bread to.
To buy the best Rye bread in Melbourne look no further. His rolls and other breads are good to excellent but his rye bread made in a traditional slow rise method and cooked in a bottom baked oven make the difference. Interesting to watch them take bread out of the ovens. Best time to visit is 1am on saturday morning just as the 1st loaves come out of the oven
