I was surprised, I have a disabled father that I care for, non of us can really cook very well so I tend to order out regularly. Ive often been disappointed with some restaurants and have not gone back again. I understand that for quality food you must expect to pay a little more, I personally am happy to pay a little more to be satisfied with a healthy meal. I am not getting any younger, neither is my father, fast food cannot be a main source of vitamins. At Frank's steak & seafood, I ordered today for the very first time for lunch: entree, a seafood tasting platter for 2, main, grain fed rib eye 500gm x2. I must state, I am very fussy but was pleasantly surprised, I couldnt fault neither entre or main course, in fact, my father and I shared the entre for lunch which was faultless and enough to fill both of us, so we had the main course for dinner. Total cost for quality homestyle cooking $120 which fed us for lunch and dinner. Very happy and will continue to explore their menu.
This is a very different place today, with the wood fire oven be a key component of the business. Under different owners, this venue is now far friendlier and with a better spread of food offerings, albeit less seafood than they sold years ago. And prices are a bit high although take away food receives a 10% discount. ALl that stuff pushed aside, the staff are very friendly. The food is really good and the venue comfortable and relaxing, once you find a car park. We will go again, maybe next week.
