One of the most important parts of a Security Door is the lock. Most customers just think about the design and colour of their new door. 95% of Security Doors are made with a passage latch, not a Security Latch. What are the differences? A passage latch the tongue of the lock goes into the latch and can be easily jammed opened. A Security Latch the tongue goes in and up which makes it much harder to open. Refer to pictures.
