Visited here with a large group for dinner. We shared 4 pizza and several salads and pizzas. Service is nothing to rave about, same can be said for the pizza and pasta - Mediocre. Artichoke salad was the best thing we had. Wouldn't rush back here with the choice of Italian in the area.
I've been shopping at Fratelli for quite a while now and was bowled over by the concept of the store when it originally opened. If you shop here be prepared to pay exorbitant prices for food that can be purchased elsewhere at the same quality for a fraction of the cost! Do not be fooled by the industrial decor, this place is a rip off!
Having worked in the Central Markets of Adelaide i never thought i would find somewhere in Sydney that had as good a offering of fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses, meats, breads and condiments, and while Fratelli fresh is just one store the offering is sublime!
It has that market appeal being in a large open warehouse, but without the competition of other stalls, and the range and quality of food is fabulous. Its true to its name in that everything is market fresh, with the best of the seasonal produce displayed creatively in crates, boxes and open shelves over the 2.5 levels of the store.
Parking is a real issue here, so avoid the mid day rush, but if you get one make it worth your while and sit upstairs at cafe Sopra the menu is delightful and makes the most of the beautiful produce for sale Fratelli definitely fresh!
