WARNING - POOL LIGHTS ARE GARBAGE!
Two Ultra Bright LED lights were fitted when my pool was installed and after about 12 months I noticed the lights were filling with water and destroying the LEDs.
I rang Freedom and about a week later a technician came and both lights were replaced.
Theses replacement lights have lasted about 3 years before again filling with water. Rang Freedom today - "Nah can't help you they are out of warranty" - Thanks Freedom!
One light failing is understandable, but not four lights, that's a design fault.
My best course of action is to now take them to the small claims court as the lights they supplied were not fit for purpose.
Absolutely awful. They hide behind their warranties when defective product installed. The bracket of our pool light split causing third of our pool to leak out. The light completely intact. The pool was installed under 2 yrs ago. Having spoken to industry professionals this is not first timeworn said light. It’s such a significant repair that they are ducking for cover and won’t warranty - now have to go to consumer affairs. From pool install to this - it has been dreadful dealing with freedom! They may Be cheaper but not worth it! Pay the extra and go elsewhere
The pool arrived in the wrong colour. The pumps were installed 2 feet away from the pool instead of 2 metres as agreed. Each workman has had to return to correct their work. One workman arrived with his dog and without even asking permission allowed his dog to run around my property peeing all over everything. The supervisor of the job has never spoken with me, returned my calls or even inspected the job. All jets on the pool have been replaced as all were installed incorrectly. The paving was laid with chipped and broken tiles with 50% of tiles at different levels. Every job has been corrected, during which I have endured aggression and unproffesional attitudes.
The installation of the pool has taken over 4 months nothing like the six weeks as we were told. Avoid the pain we have endured.
