Freedom

Spacious store stocking a large range of furniture, homewares and gift items. Well laid out and easy to browse around in. Poor customer service. I waited ages at the counter to pay for some items, went to the other desk where they take special orders for furniture and after a lengthy wait, gave up and went to another Freedom store.

I've had two recent dealings with this store and found them to be very professional and helpful. Will happily use again :)

I visit this Freedom store on a regular basis as I find they rotate through stock quite quickly and when they have a certain number of items left in the store they are discounted and reasonably priced so that you can afford to change your dcor without blowing the budget. The staff have always been pleasant, however I find they show more interest if you are carrying something in your hand, then they really go out of their way to assist you, otherwise you are left to browse on your own. I did once enquire in regards to a lounge on sale, which the staff kindly offered to provide me with a quote and measurements of the lounge, however after they obtained my details and I received a quote, I went home to measure if the lounge would fit and even though I had rung and advised the store that I am no longer interested in the lounge as it did not suit my needs, I did receive numerous voicemail messages from staff at Freedom for over a week enquiring as to my interest in ...read more

This is my worst experience ever. The store management in my opinion is very rude and not professional at all. I paid over 6k including hiring their interior decorator. The service I got was terrible. When I wanted to talk to the interior decorator (fee which I paid for) in store, they told me very rudely I cannot talk to the decorator. I received damaged goods on numerous occasions and when I called to ask for replacements, they made it sound like it was my fault. I was assured when I bought the items, they will be delivered to my place as they come in. BUT I was asked to pick up the items as they got in. This is ridiculous. I made numerous trips to pick the items as they said they cannot hold the items for long. Then I had to make extra trips to return their damaged goods. I have been to other Freedom stores, and they are much friendlier and accommodating. I do not recommend Freedom Cannington store.

Goods are over a month late . No contact from freedom to explain why or when the goods are coming . The manager is rude and unhelpful to the point of accusing customers of saying things they didn't say. They don't take COD so you have to pay up front hoping the goods do arrive and are what you ordered. I won't ever use this company again
