"Isn't your boyfriend mechanically minded?". This is not an acceptable thing to say if you can't think of a realistic solution to the issue faced by the potential client. It's not just that it's sexist and anachronistic (which it is - on so many levels). It also belittles the person you are speaking to - as well as the "boyfriend". Oh, and you know, it's kind of redundant if the client is in front of you prepared to pay for your assistance... Suffice to say we won't bother you with any of our car-related issues in future.

They fix fancy cars - I saw a BMW and an Audi in their workshop - but they were happy to repair a small scratch on my humble Hyundai without a booking. Same-day service, friendly, helpful, very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

Dropped into this repairer to get a quote to repair my hilux side step. Joel was helpful, said to leave it for half an hour and he would take a look. On return, he had fixed the problem. Charged me $50 and done. Already had quotes from $100 - 350 from less reliable appearing shops in the area. Much appreciated. Would go back for a bigger job should i need it. Thakyou

I had a relatively minor repair that I needed to get done, and was finding it very difficult to get a specific part required. After 2 days of looking and even the manufacturer not being able to help, I took my car here without a booking and it was fixed on the spot. Great guy spent 15 minutes helping out and wouldn't accept any payment. Excellent customer service, very happy
