Our truck broke down, with all of our futnure onboard. Things happens thats understandable, but why weren't we advised that this happened straight away, not on our delievery day?
We've now got to wait another 4-5 days for our furniture.. living of camping gear for over a week now.
I knew that the truck would be delayed after reading these reviews so wasn't too suprised, however finding out the truck broke down in the same state that it was picked up on Wednesday 18th and finding out on the Monday 23rd its still in QLD.
This is really bad services guys, you've left us high an dry with an empty house.
And I can 100% confirm that nothing positive will come in the end after this. There wont be any small refund or 'rush' delievery or even organising a new truck to pick up. This has been a horrible experance. (Still don't have delievery)
Hi Carly, I assume you may be referring to Kai's booked move?
Kai contacted us after another removal team cancelled on him the day he was booked to be collected
He needed to move within 2 days notice
I organised the truck to collect the items the next day, we advised that delivery is estimated to be 3-5 working days.
Yes the truck has unfortunately had some mechanical issues and has been with the removalists mechanic being fixed so that everyone's items can arrive to there desired destination without putting your items or the lives of our teams at risk
Simon did contact Kai and left a voice message for him to return his call
He also contacted the other 9 customers effected by the delay for both delivery and pick up in SA
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, we are feeling it 100 times over
we recently used Freightline removals to move us from Victoria to Brisbane
tash did a great job organising our move and makign sure everythign was in place for the removalists, the removaliats also did a great job from start to finish. i would highly recommend them for serive and price!
We’re very happy with our recent backloading removal service provided by Freightline Removals. Angela was very professional - helpful, polite, communicative and accommodating throughout the process. She followed up regularly to ensure I’ve had a smooth sailing pre- and post- removal experience. We moved from Canberra to Melbourne, and all furniture pieces arrived undamaged, having said that we did not any extremely fragile items that needed to be moved. The two guys that moved our items were also very friendly and easygoing, and did their best to ensure our items arrived intact and undamaged. We highly recommend Freightline Removals and will be using them (hopefully alongside Angela’s service) for any future moves.
Was little hesitant to engage freight line removals after reading negative reviews online. We had to move the contents of a 3 bedroom house interstate over 1200km and went looking for quotes from a number of companies including backloading contracting companies like freight line removals, dedicated truck/removalists companies and big Australia wide relocation companies like Allied Pickfords and Grace and the quotes varied from 1800 to 6000. The process is a little complicated as we don’t really know the volume of our stuff till we pack everything. Tash the operations manager was helpful and prompt in providing us with a mid range quote based on our requirements estimated at 30m3 and non flexible dates. We had a gap between the new rental lease and the old lease expiring and did not have any flexibility with dates.
