Frenken Homes

Everything these guys say is completely misleading. They "will" say anything to get you to sign the papers and all.

My parents made the mistake trusting these people once and our home was sooo poorly build that it was practically unfinished.

Gas pips, water pipes, electrical lines were not fitted in correctly.

My fiancé and I were going through another builder who we were having massive issues. We went into a frenken display and found basically the same house layout for $20,000 less. The sales consultant Matt was extremely helpful he was supposed to finish at 5pm but stayed until 6pm to chat with us, he really listened to everything we had to say and gave us advise and drew us up a plan. We weren't sure if we wanted higher ceilings so he took us to another display which was a 5 minute drive away in his Own time. He was more then happy to answer any of our questions and could give us prices on the spot. Two of my other siblings are building with frenken also and have had great experiences as far as communication. :)

This is the first home we have bought/built. The process was great until after we moved in. It is now almost a year and we still have issues with our home. When we got our keys, we were assured by Glen Hamilton that any issues went through him and he would try to do his best to fix the situation..safe to say his reply texts and emails come few and far between. It's astonishing how nonchalant they are about our cracks, fence coming apart, concrete cracking and water leak in our ensuite which has now damaged the attached plaster...not to mention our cabinet in the main bathroom isn't even square with the granite top.

hmmm....maybe the company's slogan is 'affordable homes' because they cut corners in customer service.

To be fair, the home was built on schedule, but thats about it.

Do not build with Frenken Homes. You cannot even give them a 1/2 star rating. From the moment I signed the contract I had sooo many issues and complaints and problem to the staff and management of Frenekn Homes.

I shouldnt have built my first new home from these people. Sure they be all agreeable, pleasant and lovely to you before you sign the contract, after you signed the contract then youre pretty much are on your own.

They didnt install many of the things such as power switches, water pipes and some lights correctly, they didnt even bother to install the ducking heating properly as well. I have inform them of the issues several times and all the time they either tell me that they are sending someone in to fix the problem (which they never show up) or just outright dont want to have anything to do with it. ...read more
