Fresh Dentistry

Firstly, Fresh Dentistry in Blackburn are extremely over priced. They also tell you you need work done on teeth that are perfectly fine. I know this because after an appointment there they told me I needed $700 worth of work and a possible crown which would have been a further $1500, when I went for a second opinion at another dentist I was told my teeth were perfect and needed no work at all. Lastly, I had an ‘in-chair’ whitening treatment done at Fresh which was very expensive, extremely painful and did not work as promised, despite this I was still expected to pay full price. I want to warn everyone reading this to stay away as they will charge you a fortune and ruin perfectly good teeth purely for their own profit.

I made an appointment a few weeks ago at Fresh Dentistry as a new patient after hearing how good it was from a friend.
I phoned around to see how their prices compared and found that theirs were similar or better than other dentists in the area.

What a great group of people! Very welcoming, they put me at ease straight away. The experience was the best I have had at the dentist. The rooms are light and spacious, clean and relaxing, and the music just floats throughout the place. I will definitely be back.

I was a patient of this practice and for many years and enjoyed seeing one doctor who was extremely gentle and took a non-invasive approach.



However after regular 6 monthly check-ups I was told at my last visit that I needed 6 fillings. After having regular six monthly check-ups, I sought a second opinion and only needed one of the 6 fillings that I was told was absolutely necessary.



I really enjoyed going to this practice as it really felt like a day spa and took away some of my anxiety around going to the dentist but recently the costs seemed to go up to an unreasonable amount for the service being provided.



I also don't appreciate being told that I need $1200 worth of work that I actually don't need. I now won't be returning to this practice nor will my family.

This place is more like day spa than a dentist..a fantastic atmosphere very light a cheery.. The staff are great and you really get the feeling of cleanliness and thoroughness..I am a relatively new patient and felt welcome straight away. Each visit has been very gentle and pain free. You've got to give these guys a try it's a big change from what you're used to. Full marks.

Apart from their caring nature, their pricing is way too expensive. I had to get a second opinion after an appointment where I was told that I needed $1000 worth of work in addition to a $400 consultation/15 minute hygienist appointment. The second opinion didn't even think that I needed the work done and gave me a much cheaper and a much better alternative to what Fresh Dentistry told me to do.
