I have found this school fantastic. After having two children in private schools (one is finished now) I have transferred my daughter to "Freshie". In just 3 months she has been getting better grades, awards and is positive about school again. Any issues I have raised have been dealt with immediately and with care. Great school and staff!
Opened in 2003? Otherwise a very new school with state of the art facilities. It is a Tafe college and a Co-ed Senior high school. Years 11 and 12 consist of around 500 students.
Class sizes are very small, usually 15-25 and even less than 15 and rarely around 30.
Large grass fields nearby (soccer, rugby and even baseball), basketball court, canteen, and gymnasium.
Transport is a concern, the school is very isolated, a 15 min walk is needed to a main bus stop (warringah mall). Alternatively the use of a vehicle is possible, there is a large student/staff carpark, also bicycle racks are located outside.
The current Principal is Frank Pickardt, ex-principal of Balgowlah boys high, I must say it is quite a prestigious work experience record.
