Recieved this after booking with Freshwater view: I was going through the calendar bookings and I had missed your booking and unfortunately we are unable to now confirm that time.
Think if you going to run a BnB, missing a booking is pretty poor. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The inconvenience they have caused us with the late cancellation.
The actual location of this b&b was very convenient for our needs & very close to ocean & beaches...BUT completely spoilt by b&b owners (despite apparently 10yrs 'experience') who haven't the faintest idea how to run a successful b&b business! We should have been more discerning by the significant lack of online reviews (??)
This place could be amazing but sadly is anything BUT. And reasons being:
1) FILTHY - we had to spend up to an "hr" after we first arrived wiping & scrubbing off months/years of dirt/grime/mould from numerous areas of the 'entire' place
2) no aircon so only way to get some relief from the suffocating humidity was to have the one & only ceiling fan on, which then kept us awake all night because of an incessant ...read more
