Friends Of Ours

Another cafe that I discovered, though I’m not entirely sure whether I consider Essendon to be inner-city, though technically it is. This place was certainly quite popular, though I was still able to find a place to sit myself down with my laptop (since I was putting the finishing touches on one of my assignments). I found that the staff were quite nice, and they also served up a rather decent pot of tea.

Love it! Consistently good food and coffee, friendly staff and great atmosphere.

Open from 6am, I went here before training with a few other friends. The orders came out quick but not to the detriment of the food. Good customer service, they were very attentive, even at such an early hour in the morning. My eggs were poached perfectly, with the yolks oozing out, always a good sign for a place that serves breakfast.
