From Orient

Had my friends birthday dinner last week here at From Orient. As we weren't doing a banquet but ordering all separate meals from the menu, things got a little bit confusing with orders but in the end it all turned out okay and the food service was pretty wick considering. The food this time around wasn't as amazing as the first time I came here but it was still good. Really liked the sweet corn and rib soup, the Kung Pao chicken though had a really strong unique flavor to it though, we didn't really like it. All in all, we had a lovely evening here.

Wow! Delicious! I had been wanting to go here since when it first opened but had never made the time to until I had to go for a private work function last month. Prior to the dinner I was hearing really good things from my workmates so was really looking forward to finally trying the food. We had a set banquet and just looking at the menu when we arrived, my mouth was watering! Dish after dish came out and they all looked, smelt and tasted amazing! All the flavors worked well together and everything was cooked perfectly. Staff were attentive, the night went well, the only hiccup I can think of was that our fruit platters that were on the menu, were never bought out and unsure why. It was mentioned to the waiter though and was not charged on the bill. I will come back to this place and have already told friends they should give this place a try!
