Well, having left really early for a drive down the Great Ocean Road we decided to have some breakfast in Torquay and after driving around the town for about 10 minutes we found this place. At first I thought it was simply a cafe, but it looks more like beachfront bar. However, due to the time of day, and the long drive ahead, we simply settled down for some breakfast. The staff were pretty good, but there was a 10% public holiday surcharge (which I am never all that fussed about). As for the food it was pretty good, though the tea was a little ordinary. It does have a nice deck which affords some great views of the Torquay foreshore, as well as some tables outside on the street. This was a pretty nice place, and wouldn't mind coming back here another time, especially to see what this place is like during the evening.
Friendliness and service are the first things that you notice upon entering. You are made to feel welcome and not just as a source for sales. But then they 'smack you in the mouth'... with mouth watering meals that really tell you how much you are appreciated. 'Smack me' again folks.
