It was Saturday morning and decided to meet a friend for coffee down Bellair Street. I've actually never had coffee along here before, however driven past many times. Its always busy filled with lots of people with inside and out. We stepped inside, although the sun was out, still a little fresh for Saturday morning to be seated outside. Cosy little caf, extremely busy. We found a small table just near the front, perfect little corner just for 2 people. I watched the wait staff bring dishes of breakfast ordered, they look so divine. Definitely must return to sample out their menu. On this occasion alone just had coffees, nice presentations I guess its pretty much expected these days when youre ordering coffee for some decoration on the foam. Coffee was good $3.5 each. Service was friendly. Love the location, there are so many shops near by to have a stroll and of course just opposite the train station!
Nestled away in Kensington's cosmopolitan, Belair St, lies Fruits of Passion: the suburb's answer to great coffee and great food. Anyone that lives here knows just how popular a cafe it is - you only have to drive past on a Saturday morning to see the masses lining up. Specialising in a selection of breakfast varieties, as well an extensive lunch menu, Fruits of Passion is run by a close-knit team committed to servicing their customers. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area or just passing through. Only a small cafe though so if you're planning a get-together with a large group of people it's probably best to book ahead.
