Love coming to this shop and finding great quality Japanese produce! They often have specials such as 20% off the entire store which happened last weekend and recommend stocking up on good such as Japanese rice, instant Ramen noodles and even frozen items! Great array of goods and friendly staff!

One of the only specifically-Japanese grocery stores I've found in Brisbane, and the best on the southside - rivalled only by Genki-mart and it's much too far away at Alderley. You can find everything Japanese here for cooking (ingredients, cookware and serving), as well as plenty of snacks & some other bits and pieces as well (traditional wedding cards!). All reasonably priced to boot - you can get curry bases here for the same price as the big grocery chains that are twice the size. They've recently started stocking sake & shochu as well; these are proper imported varieties (so not always so cheap!) but if you want something outside the extremely limited range in most bottle shops, this is your place. Of note: due to their liquor licence terms, alcohol can only be a certain dollar % of your purchase, so be prepared to pick up a few groceries as well if you want a drink!
