Fujisan has got to be the best sushi restaurant in Geelong and Melbourne. They are generous in the use of fresh ingredients and are always polite and friendly. The California rolls are to die for with fresh salmon not that artificial crab meat. Just wished they were closer to home as I would eat it every day. Yum yum.
Best sushi In Geelong by a mile, probably the best in melb too (from what I have tried, anyway!) The hand rolls are yummy and always fresh, the service is super fast too. No humming and hawing here, in fact, I think the people serving prefer you if you're fast! Nice eat in food too. I love the teriaki beef and always have a bowl of miso in the winter.
You know a sushi place is good when they have their own tee shirts for sale, that's all I can say!
I love Fujisan! Best service and definitely the best sushi in Geelong... maybe even in Melbourne too. Much better than those bigger sushi places! The staff are always friendly, inviting and always up for a chat! The food is fresh and unbelievably tasty! As mentioned before... their bento boxes are amazing and you will not find Gyoza this good anywhere... and their salmon..... to die for! Not too thin or chunky. Absolutely fantastic place! Cannot recommend them enough!
I've tried every sushi place in Geelong, searching for a good level of quality and cost efficiency, and none have come close to that of Fujisan. The food is cheap, but most important every fresh and tasty. The employees are always very friendly, and are happy to make more of your favourite sushi there and then if you ask for a variety that is lacking in quantity. I'm yet to go anywhere else now that I know of the quality that exists at Fujisan, I simply love it! :)
In my opinion the very best Japanese food in Geelong. The food is always fresh, their bento boxes generous, and the chicken teriyaki don...amazing! The chicken is always tender, the rice never sticks together, the broccoli steamed well and the miso is delicious. All that for around $11! I have also tried their gyoza which was moist and very tasty. I would definitely say Fujisan are one of, if not the cheapest japanese restaurant in Geelong which does not comprimise quality.
