Has shut down most likely because of bad business & arrogant staff when last owners took over they destroyed wat reputation the shop had

By far the worst fish and chips we have ever had! The shop is filthy too. We got a tiny amount of chips and they tasted like the oil hasn't been changed in ages. We read the reviews thinking this place would be good but it's clearly a pump up from the staff!

Funky Fish is kind of pricey but it's worth it. The fish and chips are delicious, not too greasy.

Very clean, lovely light batter on the fish and reasonably priced, they don't use Canola Oil which for us really important they use Rice Bran Oil and no additives or preservatives in their food. Was a little disappointed with the potato scallops - too thick, but some may like that.........overall, funky fish is our preferred fish and chippery in Coffs.
