Furkids Veterinary Surgery

We have been bringing our puppas to Furkids for around 7 years now, and can't praise Jo, Tony and the rest of the team enough. We had been going to one of the bigger vets, but unfortunatey it became apparent they were becoming more interested in profits over care. This is definitely not the case at Furkids, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, supportive and affordable vet.

Unclean and unprofessional practice. Vets and vet nurses aren’t nice and don’t really care about animals.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough.
They were recommended by breeders and are thorough, caring, explain everything clearly and are reasonably priced.
After being quoted $4,000 for surgery for our English Staffy by Greencross vets after already charging over $700 for Xrays, Furkids did the job for $1,200 and picked up another issue our dog had that also needed serious and immediate attention. This cost an additional $750 and saved her life. (And she got a pedicure thrown in also.)
For us, it's an hour to head to Grennbank rather than 5 minutes to Greencross, but well worth the trip.
We were unlikely to have been able to afford the surgery otherwise and the family is pleased that we've been able to keep our family pet rather than have to put her down due to exorbitant charges.
