Taekwondo - Stick/Sword Weaponry - Ying Yang Balanced FitnessThere is martial art - Taekwondo a Korean martial art form with focus on old traditions, like respect, focus, discipline and determination, but mixed with modern and relevant self defences. The forms known as Poomsae are traditional but with the changing times of competitive sport has seen Fx fitness come to the fore by promoting individual and group creative forms to music.
There is the Ying-Yang option of fitness training: cardio, strength training followed by Pilates, Tai Chi and Yoga in a one hour session. These classes cater to all levels of fitness allowing you to work at your own level. If you prefer to have 1:1 session you can organise private training sessions or you can join in an established group, or organise your own group. We aim to help you find the balance to your fitness needs.
To add variety and differentiate ourselves we have 2, 9th level black belt instructors teaching stick (Bongsul) and sword (Kumsul) weaponry. These classes are a combination of calm patterns and progressive fighting techniques. Suited to adults, teens or very focused students. No prior martial art experience is required, just a desire to feel empowered, learn some new skills and develop your fitness and co-ordination.
To add to the Ying-Yang effect these established sports are all taught in new, state of the art premises.
