G Developments P/L

We recently completed our first investment property with G Developments and are extreamly happy with the house and service we got.

TOOK OVER A YEAR TO BUILD AND HAD OVER 70 DEFECTS ON PCI! THEN REFUSED TO PAY OVERTIME DAMAGES!
The whole process with G Developments has been a nightmare. From signing the contract, it took almost 6 months for them to start building and the communication during this time was awful, with no clear date of if it would ever start. It then took them another 7 months for the project to reach completion. The project was overdue and they were required to pay damages, but instead they pushed for an early Practical Completion Inspection with several elements not completed or even installed, including having NO water connection. When i disputed this, stating specific details within the contract which required them to have those things installed, my dispute was ignored and I was instead threatened, that I would be charged default interest if I did not pay the remaining balance. We chose gdevelopments to build our house in an eastern brisbane suburb. We had one problem after another. G Developments made many excuses about what was agreed as the package. We had to be on the phone constantly to the building supervisor. our site work cost was double the estimate. The building site was always a mess. We had to contact the BSA about large cracks in the plaster.
