Andrew came to my house to fix a tap that wasn't working. He was prompt, thorough and tried everything he could to unblock the pipe. He was able to gain some water running through it although not to its full capacity because it appears the pipe is too old and needs replacing. I recommend him as he was persistent at problem solving, professional and committed.

They came to the rescue again. Massive downpour today and the submersible storm water pump failed. A catastrophic situation with visions of the house flooding. A frenzied call to GE Howden and they were at the front door within an hour - replacement pump in hand, installed and all rubbish removed with 2 hours. I've used these guys three times now and on each occasion I have found them to be courteous and extremely competent

Howden's are the most irresponsible plumbing company I have been associated with. Just recently they had caused a fire at our house after attempting to fix a hot water service. Not only was this a case of terrible workmanship which could have amounted to setting fire to our house but when they were told about the incident they completely denied responsibility. Instead their response was that fires don't NORMALLY happen. Unfortunately for us it did, and we are now seeking compensation in any we we can.
