Iconic St Kilda Cafe

This bohemian cafe is hidden down a St Kilda back street and is frequented by an eclectic mix of locals. The menu is creative and very affordable with good vegetarian options. Galleon Cafe has an open plan kitchen and a community atmosphere, with a haphazard collection of mix matched stools and laminex covered tables.


Get here early. Seriously. Average lunch spot on that we stumbled across to get a coffee and small bite to eat. It was hard to get the staff's attention after we were seated. Nothing remarkable to come back again.

Acceptable food but service is terrible especially the girl with pink hair who let the door go in my face and ignored me - the guy today was not much better. Too many other places in Acland Street to put up with ignorant wait staff

Divine brunch spot. Snag an outdoor table if you're lucky (there are queues on weekends) and enjoy a good coffee with some of their tasty menu offerings. Yum yum.

Excellent fresh fare, we often stop in for breakfast on the weekend. Great little cafe.
