I must have had the same staff member as a reviewer for Galuzzo's in Belmore Rd - I have been shopping at this pharmacy for years and have never had any problems. Until today, when I tried to return a perfume bought 2 days previous (on special for $15, probably too cheap - buyer beware!). I had tried this perfume at another store and found it quite delightful. The bottle I purchased from Galuzzo's was far from delightful and had a harsh chemical smell, so I decided to return it.
When I tried to return it, the management had to be called over from the Belmore Rd store (fair enough).When they arrived, they treated me very rudely, was condescending and had very aggressive body language and facial expressions. Told me that as it was opened it couldn't be returned (this is not true - perhaps staff could be trained in consumer law). I eventually obtained a refund but it was quite an upsetting experience.
I will NEVER shop there again.
By the sounds of it you've let your emotions write this review. As you said you have shopped there for years. Its a great pharmacy. They have brilliant customer service. Obviously this one time they made a mistake and were busy! Give them another chance. Don't be one of those women who feel empowered by something and make all of these rash decisions. Trust me, there are many worse pharmacies out there, so don't give up on something like this so easily.
