Ganache Chocolate

This beautifully chocolate shop and cafe also holds chocolate-making classes but if you're like me you probably just prefer to sit and consume their delicious end products! I came with a chocolate-crazy friend from overseas and he was amazed at both the range and flavours. Exuding class and warmth, this is not to be missed by chocolate lovers!

Have you ever been to a chocolate class before? Then Ganache Chocolate will definitely give the most fun and educational experience ever. My boss organised a team day for about 12 of us to get together and have some fun making chocolates. A lot of back ground and history from the owner Arno Backes - Master Chocolatier. Did you know that you cannot open a chocolate shop unless you have a degree or masters in chocolatier and the study of it takes 5 years or so. I didn't know people take chocolate so seriously until i went to this class, very interesting. The equipment and technique and the ingredients and elements to make chocolate is so much more than just eating it. And from tasting what Ganache chocolate makes versus what supermarkets sell, i probably would never eat supermarket chocolate again. I really enjoyed my 2 hours in the class.
