Okay, this is probably not the best pub in Collingwood but I certainly have been to a lot worse. I am not really sure if it is supposed to be an Irish pub or not because some places list it as Father O'Flannagans. However, inside it does seem to be decorated as if it is supposed to be such a pub. They do have live music here, namely because they were setting up when I was there, but they were nice enough to let me sit in that area since the front part was particularly crowded at the time (though they did point out that I would have to leave and then pay to come back in when the band started up). Another thing I liked about this place were the tables out on the sidewalk, which was garden furniture painted yellow. However, I still feel that there are much better pubs to drink at in Collingwood.
This is the one with the lot: open fireplace, retractable roof and lots of live music in the heart of Collingwood. The menu choices are fairly limited but there are offerings for vegetarians and vegans. The mushrooms and buffalo wings were delicious and servings were plentiful.
I really enjoyed the buffalo wings here, coupled with the blue cheese sauce - it was literally finger licking good. What makes it even better is it's available in 3 different spices. I haven't been to Canada but apparently this is a Canadian menu, but for it, I found it very American, especially with the spear pickle and pulled pork burger. The burger on it's own was already a mouth, but it comes with fries and coleslaw. Overall the food here is amazing and I'd definitely return. The restaurant section is very small so I ended up sitting in the bar area which can get a bit noisy. With the bar environment, I wouldn't say it's too family friendly.
