Gastronomy Australia Pty Ltd The Art and Science of Food
Having recently attended a catered event, I was shocked at the wide range of cuisines that Gastronomy had to offer. Even though there were elements of the food that I liked, e.g. the tofu in the sushi or the olives, I was not impressed with the food as a whole. The food didn't particularly appeal to my palate and I partly wish they would've stuck to a particular cuisine or style. However I would be willing to give them another try.
We went to corks and chroma for an event and food was supplied by Gastronomy Australia. We had a variety of things supplied like frittata, potato salad, dips, breads and chorizo. Appropriate mix for those who like gluten free options or vegetarian choices too. A good choice for catering.
I attended an event recently which Gastronomy catered to. Really interesting range of deliciousness - their seafood salad was absolutely amazing (that octopus was legit the greatest) and their thin lebanese crisp bread with the dip...just yum, I did not really get into the cold chicken as it seemed a little dry. Overall really great dishes from these guys!
How is it that 5 True Local staff members or contracters, namely Cronut Dreams, livvie, sushirawl , samantha_s and Markingtime all reviewed Gastronomy in Alexandria, Lil Darlin in Surry HIlls and Cork and Chroma in Surry hills on the 7th of February? We have reported this to True Local to no effect and requested that True Local remove these posts before we contue this conversation through our social media chanels and the True Local social media
The reviews have been written by our Local Stars, who are the top reviewers in our community, not staff members. Recently, they attended an exclusive event together hosted at Cork & Chroma and food from Gastronomy and Li'l Darlin was catered. Their reviews are reflective of their experiences, but we understand why this may have seemed like suspicious activity. A couple of reviews were reported for having incorrect information about pizzas which were in fact catered from Li'l Darlin - this was actioned on immediately and the reviews were removed.
