Gattica

This is one of those places that just keep getting better all the time. The food is consistently lovely with some healthy and interesting choices and it's great value too. They also deliver and the food is as good as in the cafe.

Located right near Balaclava Station Gattica serves great coffee and some great pizzas. The names of their pizzas are as entertaining as eating them! I didn't fancy the other menu choices overall but found everything I ordered to be of good quality. I will be returning for the $10.95 dinner special!

While there is lots of competition between the coffee shops and cafes on Carlisle street, Gattica is a very good coffee shop, or even to go there for a small meal. Delicious Pizza menu available and make great coffee.

My fianc and I have been here twice now, and both times weve been very impressed. The first time we dined there I tasted their bircher muesli with cooked rhubarh and sultanas, whilst my fianc went through their bananas and maple syrup waffles lets say we were both licking our lips at the end! The second time we went there I gorged on their scrambled eggs with chopped salmon and chives, whilst my fianc went for the traditional BLT. This time the waiter forgot to put our order through so we waited a while, but the staff were very professional about this and gave us complimentary breakfast. I was very impressed about thisoh, and their coffee is splendid!
