GATTON VETERINARY SURGERY

These guys have been my small animal vets since we moved to the Lockyer Valley 16 years ago. Always had great service and care from them. My last visit there was with my Red Cattle dog who'd sustained a deep cut to the big pad on her left fore. Reception was quite friendly though they could not find my records on the computer.
Ruby was seen pretty quickly and the vet was very efficient. Poor dog is a bit of a sook and her foot was obvioulsy sore but she got her needles and the foot wrapped up well in no time. I haven't told her the reason she went on a diet is becuase the vet said she was a little overweight.
She was happy to go back for her check up too.

Reception staff is so rude and slow. I've been in twice although I don't own any pets. The first time I visited was with wildlife. The receptionist took the box and walked out the back. That was it. No location was taken, no questions on what had happened, none of my details in case the wildlife carers wanted to return it to my property, no 'we'll call a carer'.
The second time was with a stray dog, it took about 8 mins waiting for the reception staff to even acknowledge me. The reason I brought the dog in was because it had no road sense (nearly been hit by 2 cars in a row) and the yard it came from had a whole fence panel blown out by wind. I would normally take it with me and leave a note, but I needed to go out of town.
